Paradoxical figures
Using the seven Tangram pieces, form first the white
figures in the table below, and then their black counterparts.
In both cases, you have to use all seven pieces (see
animated tutorial opposite). Try to explain why a small
black triangle is missing in the black figure!

Solutions
In
reality, the related figures are slightly different
in size. In the counterparts, the missing piece
is compensated by a slightly larger silhouette
(see examples in fig. A and B opposite).
