Privacy and Terms of Use
Privacy
This site has a very simple privacy policy: we believe that your
privacy is of paramount importance.
We
do not collect any private information from our visitors except
that which becomes public by default. We do not share any information
about visitors with any other parties. However, we may collect
some general information to satisfy our own statistical analysis
in order to improve the site, such as type of browser, country,
server, etc. Namely, we maintain a list
of reciprocal links,
i.e. a list of sites with links to our pages. If you find your
site on the list and wish it to be removed just send us a short
e-mail at contact-at-archimedes-lab.org with
the URL of your site. Visitors should note that we are not
responsible for the privacy policies of any site listed in
our reciprocal link page. They are encouraged to read the privacy
statements of any web sites they may be directed to from Archimedes-lab.org.
The
only time you become identifiable is when you send us e-mail
or when you fill in and submit forms. We may use your e-mail
address to communicate with you but will not give or sell your
e-mail address to any other party. We will NEVER send
out unsolicited commercial e-mail (UCE). If you do receive
spam or virus from some 'coward' using our domain name, look
at the message header and you will see the actual mail route
that the message took (do not open the attachments these
e-mails contain!). Please contact your Internet service
provider and report this information (please also point out
that the e-mail reply to address is *spoofed and
not us).
Archimedes-lab.org
works with reputed third parties: Amazon.com, Google.com, Kagi.com and Cafepress.com.
To find out more about how Amazon.com manages the privacy of
information in conjunction with serving ads on this site, please
read its privacy
statement. Amazon.com and Google.com banners and visitor
stat scripts (Addfreestat.com) may use cookies to track typical
web-related visitor information from our site. If you have
any further queries regarding the information collected by
our site please e-mail contact-at-archimedes-lab.org.

Spam
*Spoofing
and spamming
Some
spammers are using a technique called 'spoofing' to hide their
identities. Spoofing is a form of identity theft and accomplished
by adjusting their reply to address to another valid email address.
It
is extremely important to identify the origin of a message!
A useful technique in doing this is the correct analysis of
the message headers contained in every e-mail message, which
provide useful information on the message's origin and path.
